We are thrilled to unveil the new name of the Montreal Oral School for the Deaf: Résonance Montréal. This exciting rebrand reflects our commitment to inclusivity and the evolving needs of our community.
With the support of our staff, alumni, and professionals in the field, we are celebrating 75 years of growth, progress, and community vitality with a new logo and vibrant colour palette. Our new name better represents our mission, fostering a stronger sense of belonging and pride among those we serve.
As we celebrate this 75th anniversary milestone, we remain dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to all of our students. Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this new chapter. We look forward to the future with Résonance Montréal, where every student’s success and growth is our top priority.

When will this change happen?
At the beginning of the next school year (Fall 2025), we will officially transition to our new name, Résonance Montréal. This change will include new email addresses, an updated website, refreshed letterheads, new social media page names, and other documentation reflecting our new identity. Parents, partners, and stakeholders will receive updates throughout the spring to ensure a smooth transition as we prepare to fully embrace our new name for the next school year.
When will this change happen?

What to anticipate:
We understand that a name change can raise questions, and we want to clarify how this transition will affect you as parents, partners, and stakeholders. Our new name and branding will bring some changes to our communication channels and materials:
Email addresses:
All staff email addresses will change to reflect our new name. We will provide updated contact information in the coming weeks. However, current emails will continue to work for a transitional period to ensure a smooth shift.
Website:
Our new website will be launched under a different domain, but all resources, updates, and key information will remain easily accessible. We’ll notify you when the new site is live.
Documentation & forms:
New documentation, including forms, reports, and brochures, will reflect our new branding. However, all existing documents under the old name will remain valid for the current school year.
